Although quite a few vitamins protect our cells, Vitamin E, an antioxidant vitamin, helps our immune process – meaning it is a guard and protector of our cells from those things that could damage them, potentially bringing life altering consequences.
A guard and protector. . . that sounds like we may need someone who can see the potential pitfalls ahead; someone who knows how to defeat the things that seek to harm us and who can do so because when we are weakened they are strong. I never want to venture outside the protective shield that guards the lives of me and my family. On a daily basis, I seek our protection because we live, dwell and operate in a realm where we encounter those who seek to hinder our ability to have a full, happy and productive life. Where do I turn for this ultimate type of spiritual power? To quote the songs I used to hear while growing up, “I turn to the Rock that is higher than I”. My Rock isn’t a character from a television show or man-made production; He knows what’s coming because His vision is all encompassing and His power is endless. I can turn to my Rock because He alone has my complete trust (Psalm 62: 1 – 12 and 91: 1 – 16). Blessings, Rev. Toni
